The project covers 3 townships of hard-to-reach areas in Chin State, namely Hakha, Falam, and Thantlang, which are not currently supported by other partners.  Pyi Gyi Khin will provide services including health education, contact investigation, DOTS supervision, prevention of TB, and patient support in these 3 townships where TB treatment services are hardly accessible, and where the community is not benefitting from support by other TB partners.

PGK work with the local community and local CBOs to find Presumptive TB cases and support confirmed TB patients who will be newly initiated on treatment in 2017 under NTP in Hakha, Falam and Thantlang townships through volunteers.  PGK will work in close collaboration with National TB Program, FHI 360 and other partners.
